1* What Hammers & Nails does

Hammers & Nails is a platform designed to help users find jobs and hire tradesmen and tradeswomen. Hammers & Nails provides tools that help business owners and other users discover available tradespeople, and help tradespeople find job opportunities that may match their skills and the requirements of job posters. The platform is intended to support introductions, communication, and opportunity discovery.

2* What Hammers & Nails does not verify

Hammers & Nails does not verify, guarantee, or certify any user, business, tradesperson, or information posted on the platform. In particular, Hammers & Nails does not perform or guarantee:

business verification or proof of business;

•

identity verification or background checks;

•

security-card verification;

•

license, certification, or insurance verification;

•

proof of trade, skills, experience, or qualifications; or

•

the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any profile, job post, message, review, image, or other user-provided content.

3* User responsibility

Users are responsible for conducting their own verification and due diligence before accepting work, hiring a tradesperson, sharing personal or business information, entering into an agreement, or making or accepting payment. Users should independently confirm the identity, qualifications, licenses, insurance, references, scope of work, pricing, schedule, and other details that matter to them.

Users are also responsible for following applicable laws, regulations, safety requirements, employment requirements, and payment obligations. Any agreement, job, service, payment, or other transaction between users is made at the users’ own risk and responsibility.

4* No responsibility for outcomes

Hammers & Nails takes no responsibility for the accuracy, safety, conduct, legality, quality, timing, payment, or outcome of any interaction, job, service, business, tradesperson, message, review, or other activity found through or connected with the platform.

Hammers & Nails is not responsible for losses, damages, delays, disputes, injuries, property damage, fraud, misrepresentation, nonpayment, no-shows, unsafe conduct, or other issues that may result from a user’s use of the platform or interactions with another user.
